Hotel staffers say they are happy to take care of all guests lodging in their facility.Īll other public operations, including the casino, restaurants, meeting space and arena, are closed. The Kansas Star Casino announced its closure on Tuesday, but the Hampton Inn & Suites, the hotel connected to the casino says it is still open for business. The Lottery understands the impact this decision has on players and employees, but the State is dedicated to doing its part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Kansas communities." In a press release, the Lottery Commission said, "The health and safety of casino guests and employees continues to be of the utmost importance. Originally, those casinos were set to re-open at the end of March. The Kansas Lottery Commission announced Saturday that state-owned casinos will remain closed "until further notice". ![]()
